Act With Compassion

compassion

When times are difficult and we are upset, we need to remember to act out of feelings of compassion for those we want to help, rather than in reaction to feelings of fear or anger for those we may dislike or disagree with. We are human…we get angry at injustices…but we can’t let hate win. We can not ever make the mistake of being motivated by hate and anger, because then we become the hate…we need to remember that holding compassion in our hearts is the path to healing. Now is the time to focus on who you want to help and serve, with love and compassion in your heart. Not only will you make a difference in the world, it will make you feel better too. #CompassionHeals

    I feel neither hate nor anger, just a good deal of fear. I have found a way to deal w/ it, though: volunteer for Planned Parenthood or the NAACP or the like. Do something good –

    1. …and this is my point exactly! Motivation that comes from compassion is far stronger than motivation that comes from fear or anger.
